This is a reblog of a frightening post by Julie at Gardening Jules. It made me ask myself this morning if my plants could be killing the bees I enjoy so much. I will write to the 5 or 6 French nurseries from whom I order and ask if they are using neonics on their stock, or if they buy in young plants that may have been treated.

Paula – as you have gathered, this comes from someone else’s blog. I was shocked when I read it yesterday morning. Those in the UK who have tried contacting nurseries have met with silence.

I will be certain to report. But judging by the results that others have had in Britain – all you get is silence.
