Bluebells were the first flowers I loved and remain a nostalgic pleasure.
They are so special for me as well – but it’s the feeling of ‘being there’, in a woodland like that in spring. I have planted them here, but have to go home in May/early June to experience again.
Beautiful, ours are all getting over now. What a joy they are.
Thank goodness we can still enjoy them!
What a treat to see that field of bluebells. I have always liked them since my first sighting.
There’s nothing like a bluebell wood (on your own, no noise) for bringing out the philosopher in the man or woman.
Thanks, Cath. Oh,, I remember it well. M
Pictures posted for you Mum – wish we could go there today together!
The woods are just outside the village where my mother lives – I always try to visit in May for the bluebells!
How beautiful. It’s a memory to store up for a whole year. Until next spring.
I store it year after year and go back to see them almost every year. Unfortunately I think I might miss them this year.
Enchanting. I love blue flowers.
What a beautiful place, I can practically feel the mood of the woodland your pictures capture it so well!
Thanks so much. It’s a very special place to me because it’s the wood just outside the village where my mum lives.
